Time To Be Thankful

A Reminder About This Forgotten Holiday

Everyone is so quick to jump the gun from Halloween to Christmas that we like to pause, take a breath, and really soak in the goodness that is Thanksgiving. Especially now, after the life-altering year of 2020, we decided to take this blog post to work on a list of things we're thankful for. It's a coping technique to help change perspective to all the positivity in our lives. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we decided to share our gratitude list with the internet:

What We're Thankful For:

  • Family we love and loves us
  • Health and being alive
  • Home and the comforts we find there
  • Food on the table
  • Animals and pets
  • Clothes on our backs
  • A roof over our head
  • Netflix, Hulu, Disney+
  • Online shopping
  • Mail-Order activity kits
  • Time to redecorate and organize
  • Meditating and being present
  • The internet
  • Clean, fresh air
  • Cell phones to stay connected
  • Books and podcasts
  • Having time to focus on hobbies
  • Virtual zoom meetings with friends
  • Outdoor hikes and fun
  • Lysol and Purell
  • Standing far away from strangers in public
  • Coffee, tea, hot cocoa
  • Being able to share our days with those we love

This isn't fully complete, but it's an idea of our gratitude list. Help us fill it out by commenting below with what you or your family is grateful for this holiday season! Or you can come up with your own gratitude list - it's a great exercise in being present and mindful of all the good in your own life! Don't know how? It's easy, just write down as many things that you are thankful for, enrich your life, you would be happy for others to have, and things that spark joy.
